Ex-Cook County official arrested over forged files

CHICAGO – A former Cook County official has been arrested on charges she directed employees to falsify documents to recoup $1.4 million in federal money for a scandal-plagued jobs program.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says authorities arrested 42-year-old Brendolyn Hart-Glover Friday.

The Chicagoan is a former field manager for the Cook County President's Office of Employment Training and served as its acting director in 2010.
