Starting on Monday, motorists should be aware of lane closures at the I90, Route 47 interchange that will reduce traffic to one lane throughout the week.
From Oakcreek Parkway in Huntley to the I90 bridge, construction crews will close single lanes, north and south bound, to traffic. Route 47 will also be down to a single lane from I90 to Big Timber Road, according to Huntley village officials.
Drivers should expect longer delays, especially for the morning and evening commutes. Crews have been working since June on the $69 million full interchange project at I90 and Route 47. New westbound ramps are expected to be open in summer 2013.
