Algonquin manager to retire
ALGONQUIN – During his 20 years with the community, Village Manager William Ganek always concentrated on the task at hand.
“If we take care of the moments, the years will take care of themselves,” Ganek said. “We took care of business as needed. We had a plan, we had focus ... and adjusted as necessary. Here we are 20 years later.”
The 58-year-old Ganek plans to retire early next year, village officials announced Wednesday.
