Custard shop joins push for arts center

WEST DUNDEE – Area residents can have their custard and support the arts, too, at Van’s Frozen Custard, 300 Main St. in Carpentersville.

From noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, the custard shop will donate all proceeds to the proposed West Dundee Fox Performing Arts Center.

This summer, Friends of the Fox, made up of local business leaders, neighbors, thespians, musicians and arts patrons, organized to meet the village’s request to demonstrate local support for the creation of a state-of-the-art, 258-seat performing arts facility.
