Quality project

To The Editor:

For his Eagle Scout project, Andrew Unrath, of Unit 455, came to the village of Johnsburg with a proposal to build a new bench at Sunnyside Memorial Park, and also to refurbish the remaining benches there. This project added a much-needed place for residents to sit while supervising their children play on the southeast swing set and playground. Also, by refurbishing the older benches in the park, Andrew and his group of volunteers made the park more aesthetically appealing and beautiful.

I, along with the Community Affairs Committee and the village of Johnsburg, would like to thank Andrew, Boy Scout Unit 455, and the group of volunteers for their professionalism, quality of work and follow-through in completing the project.

We wish you the best, Andrew, as you complete Eagle Scout.

Janice Sisk

Village of Johnsburg trustee
