To the Editor:

How do we get politicians to tell the truth? In a way, we are fortunate that we have a two-party system to choose from. However, there has to be a way that both parties are required to tell the truth and prove it, or suffer the consequences. As voters, we want to know the truth about the candidates so we can make a good choice about who we vote for.

The public deserves a full-time president, not one who is president for two years and then has to be out on the road campaigning to be re-elected for the last two years of his term.
