After reaching out to our state senator, state representative, McHenry County administrator and the McHenry County Board, they did not help make certain that the majority in Wonder Lake actually favored SSA taxation for dredging Wonder Lake that was instituted by the Master Property Owners Association and village of Wonder Lake.

Corrections need to be made. Every subdivision is represented by one person who sits on the MPOA Board of Directors. These were the people who voted yes or no to establish an SSA, which narrowly passed. Many directors were biased. For example, Wonder Center Subdivision was polled and voted against an SSA, yet the director voted in favor of selling bonds to finance dredging.
