Ross, Red Sox spoil debut of White Sox's Hernandez
BOSTON – Pedro Hernandez stood in the visiting locker room at Fenway Park, removed his nameplate from above his locker and stashed it away in his belongings.
Less than 30 minutes after his major league debut, the 23-year-old was headed back to the minors.
“That was happening, no matter if he pitched a perfect game,” manager Robin Ventura joked after the White Sox lost, 10-1, to the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.
