WOODSTOCK – A Huntley man faces up to seven years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing his daughter's friend.

Jimmy J. Dill, 40, of 10809 Cape Cod Lane, entered a blind plea to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony.

There is no agreement with prosecutors as to his sentence, but charges from two 2009 cases – one drug-related and the other for possession of child pornography – were dropped as part of the plea accepted by McHenry County Judge Joseph Condon.

According to Assistant State's Attorney David Metnick, the 16-year-old victim went to Dill's house in October to meet with his daughter. Dill told the girl that she wasn't home but would be soon if the girl wanted to wait.

While waiting, the girl complained of a sore back and Dill offered to massage it for her, taking her to a bedroom and having her lay face down on a bed.

The girl became nervous and froze, Metnick said, and Dill pulled down her pants and fondled her breasts. After he stopped, he said to her, "You're not going to say anything, right?"

In June 2009, Dill was arrested and charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance  after allegedly dealing 45 pills of Ritalin.

About a month later, he was arrested again and charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography after the Illinois Attorney General’s Office’s High Tech Crimes Bureau determined that Dill was offering child pornography over the Internet.

According to the criminal complaint in that arrest, Dill had videos on his computer that included multiple unidentified female children under age 13 engaging in sex acts with an unidentified male.

Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 27.
