Illinois charity seeks McHenry County area wish granters
ALGONQUIN – An expected increase in wishes granted has officials from the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois seeking more volunteers for the McHenry County area.
The organization has scheduled a training session locally for those who are interested in firsthand experience in granting wishes to children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
The meeting will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in Algonquin.
