US Rep. Walsh says he's skipping GOP convention
CHICAGO — Congressman Joe Walsh says he has better things to do than mingle with politicians at the Republican National Convention.
Walsh says that instead of attending the convention, he plans to host town halls and meet with the people of his congressional district.
The McHenry Republican challenged his opponent to do the same when the Democrats convene.
