Clothing drive will help Crystal Lake charity
CRYSTAL LAKE – As part of Take a Stand for Turning Point, WZSR-FM Star 105.5’s seventh annual 36-hour fundraiser, Turning Point will hold a clothing drive.
The drive will run from 6 a.m. Aug. 10 to 6 p.m. Aug. 11 at Sam’s Club, 5670 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
The drive will accept men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as well as maternity clothes, coats, hats and gloves. Shoes, purses, belts and clean household linens, sheets and blankets, towels, curtains and small area rugs also will be accepted.
