CRYSTAL LAKE – For parents who seek day care and preschool options in the fall, the McHenry County College Children’s Learning Center will host a Parents’ Night open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 at the college, 8900 Route 14.

The event will allow parents to tour the facilities, meet the staff, and talk with current parents whose children already are attending.

The center offers a low student-teacher ratio, flexible scheduling options, and experienced, director-qualified teachers, Lisha Linder, an MCC Early Childhood Education instructor, department chair and interim Learning Center director, said in a news release.
