Cary officials: Good owners curtail ‘bad’ dogs
CARY – Responsible dog ownership is the key to preventing dog bites and dog attacks, officials said Tuesday at a pet safety forum.
The forum meant to educate the public on pet safety and pet regulations in the village attracted about 45 people for a discussion of dog bites.
Police Chief Steven Casstevens reiterated that the village is not considering banning certain breeds of dog.
