D-300 event to showcase students’ research

ALGONQUIN – Students from various District 300 schools will present their research from a summer science course today at Jacobs High School.

Students this summer have been conducting science research projects at the Schweitzer Woods Forest Preserve, testing water quality, soil and wetlands. They will showcase their research findings in a science symposium at 6:30 p.m. at Jacobs, 2601 Bunker Hill Road, Algonquin.

Students took the lead in organizing the symposium and opening it to the public.
