Sex abuse trial begins for Algonquin man
WOODSTOCK – A jury trial began Tuesday for an Algonquin man accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl on several occasions last year.
The defendant, Raymond M. Kasper, 49, is the nephew of serial killer John Wayne Gacy. A judge previously ruled that jurors would not hear about that relationship because it’s irrelevant.
Kasper is charged with multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
