Bears ready for first practice on Thursday

The Bears reported to training camp in Bourbonnais today with high hopes for the 2012 season.

"I think we have the talent now to reach our expectations," linebacker Brian Urlacher said. "We always say it because it's the right thing to say, but I really think we can do it this year."

The 8-time Pro Bowler said he's ready to participate fully in training camp after suffering a knee injury in the Bears' 2011 season finale.

Practice begins on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Olivet Nazarene University. The team's first padded practice will be held on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
