Artists from the Huntley area have the chance to show-off their work to the public during the second-ever Huntley Artfest on Aug. 18 and 19.
Interested artists can visit the festival's website (www.huntleyartfest.org/page1.php) to retrieve an application. If accepted, an artist can display ceramics, writings and paintings during the two-day festival. The deadline to apply is Aug. 13. Applicants will have to pay at least $25 when they send in the form.
The festival features live music, food, vendors and local artists at Church and Main streets in downtown Huntley.
