Blues, Brew & BBQ 2012 will take place Aug. 3-5 at Petersen Park, McCullom Lake Road, McHenry.

Three-day blues festival, barbecue foods and cook-off hosted by the McHenry Rotary Club. Bands scheduled to play include Frank Bang and the Secret Stash, Howard and the White Boys, Blooze Brothers, Mr. Blotto, Roughhouse Blues Band, Geneva Red and the Roadsters and more.

Hours: 4:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Admission: $5 adults daily, free for children 12 and younger.
