Final arguments today in child sex abuse trial
WOODSTOCK – Closing arguments are scheduled for this morning in the child sexual assault trial of serial killer John Wayne Gacy’s nephew.
Raymond M. Kasper, 49, formerly of Algonquin, took the stand Thursday and denied accusations that he sexually abused a 12-year-old girl. He is charged with multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Judge Joseph Condon previously barred any mention of Kasper’s relation to Gacy, saying it’s irrelevant.
