Yield to emergency vehicles
To the Editor:
I feel compelled to comment on the accident that happened in Woodstock at the intersection of Route 47 and Country Club Road on July 23.
First and foremost, a tip of the hat to our first responders, the firefighters and police officers who did their usual excellent jobs of attending to the emergency, coordinating the Flight for Life helicopter, tending to the injured, and re-directing traffic – or, pertaining to the latter, attempting to deal with traffic.
