Girl Scouts to dedicate Green Trees work
HUNTLEY – The local Girl Scouts will host a ceremony today to thank community groups that helped beautify the landscape at the Green Trees Apartment complex.
Girl Scouts from across Huntley will lead the dedication ceremony at 3 p.m. at the complex, 11417 E. Main St., and supply refreshments.
For nearly a year, groups and individuals have planted hundreds of trees, shrubs and plants to bolster the quality of life for the many low-income and developmentally disabled seniors who live in the complex.
