LITH police seminar to cover college safety
LAKE IN THE HILLS – With many young adults headed off to college, the Lake in the Hills Police Department aims to help with transitions in a seminar on college safety Aug. 9.
Village police officers plan to provide the tools and information young people and parents need to ensure everyone’s safety in a new campus environment. Topics include safety precautions, protecting property and drug and alcohol consumption.
The presentation will be at 7 p.m. at the Safety Education Center, 1109 Crystal Lake Road.
