Huntley’s Craig win’s match play tourney title
Less than two weeks ago, Ryan Craig posted the biggest victory of his junior golf career, winning the Mid-American Junior Golf Tour’s Kenosha Classic.
On Friday, Craig one-upped himself, capturing the title of the 32nd Chick Evans Junior Amateur Match Play Championship at Itasca Country Club.
Craig defeated Matthew Fazio of West Chicago, 4 and 3, in the championship match, completing a grueling five-day tournament that featured some of the best junior golfers in the state.
