High price for love: Weddings' average cost hits $25K
It turns out true love indeed has a price tag – and a pretty hefty one at that.
The Wedding Report, a recent study by Pew Research Center and the U.S. Census Bureau, found that the average wedding costs about $25,630 for between 128 and 148 guests. Prices average as high as $32,000, the report states.
Weddings are an industry all of their own. The Wedding Report estimated that Americans spend more than $50 billion annually on this commitment.
