Pink pancakes to help breast cancer team

ALGONQUIN – A group raising money for a Susan G. Komen 3-Day event will host a fundraiser Thursday at Colonial Cafe, 2555 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin.

"The Rack Pack" is a team of women participating in the 60-mile walk against breast cancer Aug. 10 to 12 in Chicago, team member Kathy McCoy said in a news release.

Colonial Cafe will be make pink pancakes and sell them for a penny each all day as part of a "Cakes for a Cure" fundraiser for the team.
