CRYSTAL LAKE – For a few moments, it looked like Crystal Lake Babe Ruth might have another comeback in store.

Babe Ruth parlayed good plate discipline and two timely hits into seven runs and cut the Puerto Rico All-Stars’ margin to four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The All-Stars were relentless, however, using Luis Ortiz’s three-run home run in the fifth to tack on four more runs in a 15-7, five-inning victory in the McHenry County Youth Sports Association Summer International Championships 15U tournament at Lippold Park.
