Lyons: Are we better off with nameless killers?
While on vacation last week, I mainly took a break from the news to spend some quiet time with my family in the north woods.
We were without cable TV and more interested in the bald eagles, loons and largemouth bass than the iPad I occasionally thumbed across for headlines, obviously many of which had to do with the Colorado theater shooting.
Since returning, I’ve been catching up on news and the media ethics conversations that always follow major events such as this.
