Patching projects ramp up; expect delays
Motorists can expect delays on the roadways as three Illinois Department of Transportation pavement-patching projects get underway.
Improvements will begin Wednesday on Route 14 between Bunker Hill Road and the Wisconsin state line in Harvard, Route 23 from Route 176 to Route 14 in Marengo, and Route 176 from Route 47 to Route 14 in Woodstock.
The $1.1 million projects will reduce both roadways to single-lane traffic with flaggers present during the daytime hours where construction is taking place.
