Benefit is Friday for Larimer fund
CRYSTAL LAKE – A benefit to honor a Crystal Lake South graduate killed in the July 20 movie theater massacre in Colorado will take place Friday.
The benefit will be from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the London Club, 394 W. Virginia St., Crystal Lake. Proceeds will go to the John T. Larimer Memorial Fund, a fund set up by the 27-year-old’s family.
Larimer, a Crystal Lake native, was one of 12 people killed in an Aurora, Colo., theater. He was slain protecting his girlfriend, Juleah Vojtsek of Algonquin.
