Cary appoints three 
to police commission

CARY – The Village Board on Tuesday night approved Village President Thomas Kierna’s three appointments to the Board of Police Commissioners

James Levicki will have a term that expires April 30, 2013; Dori Chianakas will have a term that expires April 30, 2014; and Jim Myers will have a term that expires April 30, 2015.

All three appointees replace commissioners who retired from the board. The board is responsible for interviewing officer candidates, conducting interviews for promotions to sergeant and handling discipline appeals for sergeants.
