D-47 back to balanced budget
CRYSTAL LAKE – Crystal Lake District 47 plans to adopt a balanced operating budget for the first time in several years, making good on a pledge after years of deficit spending.
“I’m very pleased with the hard work everyone has done to get to this point,” school board President Jeff Mason said.
Keeping revenue in line with expenses could be a challenge.
