High bacteria levels close Lakemoor beach
LAKEMOOR – Morrison Park Beach on Lily Lake has been closed by the McHenry County Department of Health because of high bacteria levels.
Morrison Park Beach was one of 37 beaches sampled by the health department Tuesday.
Main Beach in Crystal Lake is at an advisory level. Both Morrison Park Beach and Main Beach were set to be resampled Wednesday. Wooded Shores in Wonder Lake also is on an advisory level and will be resampled next week.
