Park district taxes
To the Editor:
I was surprised to read on the cover of Section B of the July 28 Northwest Herald that “Cary parks look to buy Chalet Hills Golf Club.”
I was at one of the Cary Park District’s meetings on Thursday evening. Despite the fact that the park district representatives stated in no uncertain terms that they did not have to answer our questions, they vehemently denied any knowledge of an interest in Chalet Hills.
