Woodstock's city manager to retire
WOODSTOCK – Longtime City Manager Tim Clifton will retire at the end of this fiscal year, he said today.
Clifton has been Woodstock's city Manager for the past 20 years and will leave his post April 30, and has a lot of work to complete as he wraps up his final nine months on the job.
"We've got Panera to finish up, the [Old] Courthouse, the movie theater, the budget, Capital Improvement Projects, and a major street resurfacing program," Clifton said. "I've got more than enough on my plate for next nine months."
Clifton earns $175,000 a year.
