Woodstock’s Clifton wrapping up busy year ahead of retirement

WOODSTOCK – There is still plenty of work for longtime City Manager Tim Clifton to wrap up in his last nine months on the job.

Clifton, 60, will retire April 30 – the end of the city’s fiscal year.

“We’ve got Panera to finish up, the [Old] Courthouse, the movie theater, the budget, capital improvement projects and a major street resurfacing program,” Clifton said. “I’ve got more than enough on my plate for the next nine months.”
