Lake in the Hills teen named 2012 McHenry County Queen
WOODSTOCK – Samantha Bolet is very proud to live in Illinois.
The 17-year-old Lake in the Hills girl was exuberant about her home state in a speech Wednesday night at the McHenry County Fair, just hours before she was crowned 2012 McHenry County Queen.
“In life we’re all looking for our haven,” said Bolet, a senior at Crystal Lake South High School. “Illinois is what you think and so much more.”
