More men choosing to be primary caregivers at home
Inside his Crystal Lake town home, Nathan Thompson has some help with his 5-week-old daughter, Claire, and 19-month-old son, Christopher.
Thompson’s wife, Kristen, 28, is in the midst of her eight-week maternity leave, but by the end of August, Kristen goes back to work. Nathan Thompson, 31, then will be on his own making lunch and changing diapers for his two children.
“I don’t know how moms do it by themselves, because we’re both exhausted all the time, and there’s two of us,” Nathan Thompson said.
