Planners seek thoughts on two CL parks

CRYSTAL LAKE – Residents are being asked what they think at the Crystal Lake Park District prepares to replace aging playgrounds at Woodland Estates Park and Ken Bird Park this fall.

Woodland Estates Park, on Midline Drive in north Crystal Lake, and Ken Bird Park, on Village Road on the city's south side, are next for new playground equipment, park planner Ann Viger said.

Playgrounds at both parks are about 18 years old.
