District 26 looks to expand online courses

CARY – After piloting two digital learning courses in the past seven months, District 26 plans to continue at least one of its online computer courses for students.

District officials want to continue the virtual summer school program for students who need help in reading and math. The program was paid for by the district through Title I funding.

In a presentation last week, district officials said the virtual summer school courses were user friendly, engaging and helpful to reinforce and further develop reading and math skills.
