Good Shepherd receives Heart Association award
BARRINGTON – Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital recently received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline Bronze Quality Achievement Award.
The award recognizes Good Shepherd Hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for patients who have had heart attacks.
Unfortunately, every year a significant number of people who have heart attacks around the country don’t receive prompt treatment, which is critical in restoring blood flow. Mission: Lifeline seeks to save lives by closing the gaps that separate patients from timely access to appropriate treatments.
