Third Illinois victim of West Nile Virus reported
SKOKIE (AP) — There is another case in Illinois of a human infected with the West Nile virus.
The Skokie Health Department reports an adult woman has been hospitalized with the disease.
It is the third confirmed case of West Nile in Illinois this year. The first two cases were women in their 60s from the Chicago suburbs of Des Plaines and Rolling Meadows.
