CRYSTAL LAKE – Three separate car fires are being investigated as suspicious, according to the Crystal Lake Police Department.

Authorities were called to the first block of Talcott Drive at around 5 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle on fire, according to a news release. Crews arrived to find a boat and SUV fully engulfed in flames in the driveway of a residence in that area.

The boat and vehicle were completely destroyed by the fire, and a home and truck parked nearby sustained some minor damage from the heat, the news release states.
