Library to extend hours starting in September

ALGONQUIN – The Algonquin Area Public Library will extend its hours beginning Sept. 4 in an effort to better serve the community.

The new hours for the main library at 2600 Harnish Drive will be 9 a.m to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The hours for the Eastgate Branch, 115 Eastgate Drive will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
