McHENRY – Three residents were injured Monday morning during a multi-vehicle accident on Bull Valley Road, according to authorities.

Traffic was backed up eastbound near the intersection of Ridgeview Drive at around 7:30 a.m. when a vehicle rear-ended a motorist who was stopped in the area, according to McHenry police Sgt. Robert Lumber. That caused the vehicle to strike another vehicle, which in turn caused that vehicle to hit a fourth car.

Three people were transported to Centegra Hospital – McHenry with non-life threatening injuries.
