Chamber presents check to Boy Scout troop

Boy Scout Jeremy Gallegos accepted a $945.96 check for Troop 349 from the Richmond/Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce as a result of the proceeds raised at its seventh annual Charity Auto Show.

The event was July 29 at the Scot Forge parking lot.

According to Laura Ferris, chamber executive director, the Boy Scouts always have been a big part in volunteering their time and energy in making the show a success.
