Historical society to explore Indian artifacts
HARVARD – The Harvard Historical Society will host a presentation Aug. 19 by Pat Howden, who collects local Indian artifacts.
The talk will be at 2 p.m. at the historical society, 308 N. Hart Blvd., Harvard.
Howden, who has lived in Harvard all of his life, started collecting arrowheads at age 11, when he inherited his father’s collection, which was kept in cigar boxes.
