Marengo concert to benefit horse rescue

MARENGO – Destination Safe Haven Horse Rescue will present a benefit concert featuring the band Southern Charm on Aug. 17 at Country Cafe and Bar, Route 20 and Harmony Road in Marengo.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The band will start playing at 7 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge at the door and raffle tickets will be available.

All proceeds go to the nonprofit rescue group.
