CRYSTAL LAKE – BMO Harris Bank/Crystal Lake Park District Blast on the Beach will be 3 to 9 p.m. Aug. 18 at Crystal Lake’s Main Beach.

Admission is free. Festival organizers said they hope attendees will “pay it forward” by participating in the Crystal Lake Jaycee school supply collection drive. The Jaycees will have a collection table set up from 3 to 7 p.m. at the festival.

All supplies will be donated to the Wraparound Program, which serves at-risk youth with emotional/behavioral disorders in McHenry County.
