BARRINGTON – The Catchpenny, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital’s resale shop, will have a fall open house and 40th anniversary sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Monday.

Catchpenny opened its doors in 1972 and remains in its downtown Barrington location at 118 E. Main St. Managed by the Auxiliary of Good Shepherd Hospital, Catchpenny continues to thrive and post record sales.

Catchpenny has raised more than $2 million for Good Shepherd Hospital. Catchpenny’s staff of more than 75 volunteers each works three to six hours a week. Many have volunteered at Catchpenny for more than 20 years.
